KBS® Sealant
Packaging units: Plastic containers with 7, 25 and 35 kgs content, cartridges with 310 ml content
Technical features / advantages
- Ablative joint sealant, acts by endothermic reaction
- Halogen-free
- Highly weather resistant
- Has similar properties to KBS® Coating in terms of aging and chemical resistance
- High LOI, which means no flame formation during burning, even in highest oxygen saturation
- Prevents the generation of toxic and corrosive gases and smoke
Area of application
- Interior and exterior
- Joint sealant for cable and mixed penetration seals in conjunction with mineral wool panels to achieve flame resistance and smoke tightness in fire compartmentation
