Fire Protectors – Established products. Strong brand.

Safety is the guiding principle of our business

Fire Protectors, that's three proven fire protection businesses that have been established on the market for many years under one new roof.

In line with the motto "Together we are stronger," we decided in 2019 to combine the fire protection businesses, which until then had been located in different divisions, into a single unit. Today, we are at home with these product lines and the Fire Protectors brand under the umbrella of Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH.

  • Palusol®, the silicate-based building material that foams in the event of fire, which is produced at our Frankenthal site, has been tried and tested for decades in the manufacture of high-quality fire doors, fire barriers and safety cabinets.

  • The Wolman fire protection range manufactured at our headquarters in Sinzheim includes the intumescent building materials Interdens® and Exterdens® as well as the fire protection products for wooden components of the Wolmanit® product range.

  • For more than 4 decades our Illertissen site has been renowned for its KBS® fire protection systems and almost 70 years for competence in active and passive fire protection, altogether. Here we develop, test and produce proven as well as new fire protection and compartmentalization solutions for use in public and residential buildings, in industrial as well as infrastructure facilities all over the world.
